Our lodging is available on an individual nightly basis.
The Pilot House is Pet Friendly and Smoke Free. We try to book our vacation rentals by the week only in July and August. If we get close to July we will break down unfilled weeks. See cancellation policy below.
Check in is 3pm and Check out is 11am. Please let us know when you arrive.

Reservations, Cancellation Policy: To secure your reservation with Cloudsplitters you can send a 50% check deposit or give us your credit card information. If you choose to use credit we do not charge the card. Instead we hold your info in the event of a chargeable cancellation. If you cancel your reservation and we could have filled the same dates with another guest you will be charged the full amount for your stay. We will notify you if we have another guest interested in lodging on the same dates you have reserved. This is to make sure you understand this policy and to confirm that you still plan on staying with us. If you cancel and we can fill the same or all dates you reserved you will only be charged for the vacant dates as a result of your cancellation.
Check-In: There is no need to “check-in” but you are welcome to join us in the Outfitters’ store. Summer hours are 9am to 5pm. Knock on our back door if you need something before or after business hours. During the winter, always come to the house.
Check-Out: We do ask that you let us know when you are leaving so we can complete housekeeping tasks before our next guest’s arrival. As you leave, make sure you tidy up as you found it. You are responsible for cleaning the kitchen and removing your perishables from the refrigerator. Dishes need to be washed, dried and put away. Please leave the used beds unmade or stripped. We clean and disinfect the bathroom top to bottom, wash the linens, make the beds, and vacuum the entire facility. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
Payment Policy: If we have taken your credit card information and you want to pay for your lodging with the same card we still ask that you come in so we can physically run the card through our terminal. Card processing fees are high and it costs us more to key the information than it will if we swipe the card. If possible we prefer payment in cash or check so we can avoid the processing fees all together. You can pay for your balance due at any time during your stay or when you check out.
Damages: We are honest hard working people just like you, we can’t absorb damage cost like a big hotel chain. We expect our guests to self-report any damages and pay a reasonable replacement fee.
Television: Both units have Roku streaming service. Bring your own passwords to stream other services.
WIFI: Wi-Fi is available in both units.

Some items have personal value and are really irreplaceable, for example the owl in the Tamarack. Please do not touch or move the owl, as it is very fragile.

In the Winter: Please keep the windows closed. Heating overhead in the winter is substantial.
